3. Swimming is one of the popular activities for kids. Go to your local leisure centers or small resorts in your area that have special swimming activities for children especially during the summer.

4. If your children are interested in sports, encourage them to join into their favorite sport. You can even join them in their practice. Sport activities are not only fun but they can develop confidence and teamwork.

5. Go out with your children on your bicycles and have a picnic. This can give you an opportunity to spend some quality time with your family, visit different places and do different activities . You do not have to go fast or far because your goal is to let your children have fun.

6. Try visiting your local library. It is best to encourage your kids to read and teach them how to borrow books. There may be different activities planned in the library such as visits from authors or reading sessions.

7. Let your children invite their friends and have a movie marathon. You can prepare some food for them and if you are cool enough, allow their friends to sleep over sometimes.

8. Another good activity for your children is going to the park with your dog. Aside from fresh air, your children will be able to have some exercise, which is important for growing kids.

9. Let your children help in the kitchen by baking cakes or biscuits with them. It is recommended to teach children the basics of cooking so that they can understand the importance of healthy eating. Additionally, teaching your kids different household chores will help them when they grow older.
